ADVENTURE COACH
MAKE AN IMPACT
The difference between a coach and a volunteer is the level of committment and the specificity of your time given. As a coach you will be involved with these atheltes through the entire adventure program. You will help with accountability, adventure workshops, 1:1 training, and more. Each year we take at least 1 of our coaches to the Adirondacks to experience it with the athletes. For this program, we need 2 coaches to work with these exceptional adventure athletes. If at anytime the adventure athlete is struggling to stay motivated, have them watch our video from last years adventure to the Adirondacks to inspire them to keep pushing forward towards this amazing experience and goal!

ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability and motivation are key factors to progressing towards a goal. We have designed over 50 different print off sheets for the adventure athletes to use on a weekly basis. Some examples are at home training sessions, hydration tracker, weekly schedule, monthly goals, motivational quote of the week, habit tracker, habit breaker, and so much more.

For this program we need 10 skateboard mentors/coaches to work with these exceptional athletes. Each mentor will be partnered with an athlete to work with and befriend throughout the program. If you are interested please fill out the application below and we will be in touch.

At AFA our programs support athletes through challenging phases and sometimes those phases include falls here and there, but when our athletes push through those fears and get back up they earn that never give up attitude! You can purchase your recommended gear below!
