ADVENTURE ATHLETE JOSH ECKERT

LEADING AN INCLUSIVE FUTURE

Josh is an adventure athlete for GTFO & Adventure For All. After successfully completing Gravel Worlds in 2021 he has grown to crave challenges. So, when we asked him if he wanted to mentor other athletes to take on Gravel Worlds in 2022 he answered, "OBVIOUSLY!" With the help of Gravel Worlds, Josh, & our team, we plan to raise enough money to bring 4 exceptional adventure athletes in 2022 with Josh leading the way.

IT'S MORE THAN LEARNING TO RIDE A BIKE.
IT'S GROWTH, INDEPENDENCE & CONFIDENCE.

  • We choose 4-5 adventure athletes each year to train for the Buccaneer 50k at Gravel Worlds in Lincoln, NE.
  • The adventure athlete DOES NOT have to know how to ride a bike to apply. We have successfuly trained athletes to learn how to ride a bike and train to be prepared to crush the 50k (31 mile) bike ride!
  • Training in this program is progressive. The athlete will start with 2 bike rides a week and will progress to 4-5 sessions a week. For example:
    • One group ride with their fellow athletes/friends.
    • One 1:1 training session with their coach.
    • Two stationary bike rides at home (if you do not have on, we will provide one to borrow during the program).
    • One at home strength session.
  • For any more details you can email us at Info@adventureforallfund.org and put "Gravel & Giving Program" in the subject.
